About the author: Pedro Vázquez
Pedro Vázquez has been teaching flamenco guitar for over 15 years. He started playing at 12, like most people do — without much guidance, figuring things out as he went. That turned out to be useful: he knows first-hand every mistake students make when they learn without a clear map, because he made them all himself.
In 2021 he founded Aprendeguitarra.es, an online flamenco guitar academy based in Andalusia with over 1,500 students, 50+ courses and nearly 900 recorded lessons.
